AM General is launching a new process to manage sourcing events and supply base information.
In an effort to drive consistent sourcing processes across all AM General business segments, we are implementing SAP Ariba. The system contains sourcing, contracts, and supplier information modules that will interface directly with our SAP ERP system.
Implementation of Ariba will enable more efficient submission of supplier quotes while automating analysis and summarization of results. It will also enable our suppliers to create and maintain their own supplier profiles in an integrated, online environment.
